Barra Solar Power is a family-owned solar and battery installer, run by Townsville locals since 2013. Our own licensed installers look after homes and businesses across Townsville and North Queensland.

Barra Solar Power is a family-owned business, run by Townsville locals since 2013. We’re proud to call Townsville home, and we look after our own: quality installs and honest advice.
You might know us by our old name, Barra Electrical. It’s the same Townsville business, now called Barra Solar Power. If Barra Electrical did work for you, just give us a call.
Our office and workshop are at 13 Gurney St, Garbutt. From there we look after homes and businesses across Townsville and North Queensland, with solar panels, home batteries and help choosing an option that suits your property, the way you use power and your goals.

We don’t disappear once it’s switched on.

Always follow local advice first and foremost from Ergon and emergency services. If your solar or battery system stopped working, we will send electricians as soon as it’s safe.
